The Drag Racing Assocation of Women held its second annual wine tasting and silent auction fundraiser on Thursday, July 29, 2004. Our most sincere appreciation goes out to Don Schumacher for providing his Funny Car hospitality area for this event. Special thanks to Mike Lewis and Heidi for making all the arrangements in the hospitality area.

The following wineries made generous donations for our fundraiser: Valley of the Moon, Korbel, Cline, Sebastiani, Buena Vista, and Andretti. Budweiser, Miller, and POWERade provided additional drinks. George Mann donated beer in honor of Larry Winters.

Special thanks to: Betty Doke for decorating the tables and arranging the hors d'ouvres; Joe from Lucas Oil, Yogi from CSR, Lori Ann from Castrol, Mark, Jennifer, and Raelene from Race Girl for their assistance with pouring. Helping with the clean-up were Ed and Glen from Adventure Team Racing, Steve LeSueur, Terry Noble, and Gerilyn Steiner.

Those attending included manufacturers, sponsors, officials, souvenir trailer personnel, fans, and racers. DRAW would especially like to thank the Hartman Family, the Smith Family, the Worsham Family, and Kenny Koretsky.
