Special Thanks from DRAW
Thanks to Jographix!
In the deadline-oriented printing industry where customers often need things "yesterday", Super Street racers and business owners, Olan and Judy Gotcher, of Jographix in Red Oak, Texas, still find time to oversee the production, printing and mailing of DRAW's monthly newsletter, DRAWing Attention.
The importance of Olan and Judy's contribution cannot be underscored as DRAW's newsletter is our most important link in providing names and address of those on our Injured, Cares & Concerns and Sympathy lists to DRAW members. In turn, our members are able to make a personal contribution to these individuals by sending cards and letters of support and encouragement.
DRAW purchases the newsletter paper stock at cost and also pays postage but Jographix donates everything else, their time, skills, labor and equipment, a valuable contribution that enables DRAW to correspond regularly with our members. Judy also serves DRAW in the appointed position of membership secretary.
DRAW would like to take this opportunity to extend our deepest appreciation to Olan, Judy and the staff of Jographix for their valuable contribution in the production of DRAW's newsletter. We couldn't do it without you! Many Thanks!
Thanks to LTTF!
DRAW's Website has become a very important part of our identity but thanks to the generosity of LTTF, (Link To The Future) it doesn't appear on our books as an expense.
Beginning in the summer of 1999, LTTF generously offered their services to DRAW, agreeing to host our website completely free of charge. As an all-volunteer, non-profit organization that seeks to carefully allocate resources, LTTF's donation of a service that allows us to expand awareness of DRAW using Information Age technology and the power of the Web was indeed, a welcome gift!
DRAW recognizes LTTF's contribution to our organization and their commitment to advance DRAW's message to the drag racing community and beyond. How else can we say it? Most gracious Thanks!
Thanks to the National Hot Rod Association!
DRAW wishes to thank the National Hot Rod Association for its many years of continued support and generosity. NHRA has allowed DRAW to operate its National Event Booth on Manufacturer's Midway without charge. NHRA also provides event tickets for the DRAW Board of Trustees and booth workers. Thanks to NHRA Race Control, DRAW also provides ladder sheets for all categories of racers at national events. (Ladders are available at the DRAW booth for $1 per sheet.) In addition, NHRA track announcers regularly mention upcoming DRAW special events during their broadcasts.
To the National Hot Rod Association Staff, under the leadership of NHRA President Tom Compton, DRAW offers a most sincere "Thank-You!"
Thanks to National Dragster!
From very the beginning of DRAW's inception in 1985, DRAW's biggest literary supporter has been National Dragster.
Throughout the years, National Dragster has provided promotional space at no charge, regularly printed the names and telephone numbers of primary DRAW contacts for ease of reporting injuries, advertised upcoming DRAW fundraisers and reported on DRAW activities following an event. In August 2000, National Dragster opened up valuable space in their coveted "On The Run" column for DRAW, providing a new way for DRAW to pass their message to the many thousands who subscribe to or read this great publication.
National Dragster photographers bring precious DRAW moments to the pages of National Dragster by capturing fundraisers, starting line presentations and more in pictures. Even with the large array of racing activity and "Kodak Moments" that surround every event, National Dragster is ever faithful to position their camera when something special is happening with DRAW.
As a result of National Dragster's generosity, DRAW is able to reach a vast audience that exceeds way beyond the boundaries of DRAW's membership. To the National Dragster Staff and to National Dragster Editor, Phil Burgess, for bringing our mission and message to so many, a most heartfelt "Thank-You" from DRAW!
