Rosalee Noble Improving Rapidly After
Knee-Replacement Surgery

DRAW’s Fundraising Chairwoman and National Event Booth manager Rosalee Noble is making rapid progress following her double knee replacement surgery. When asked about her progress, Rosalee gave the following update:

"I have progressed from the walker to a cane, which I only use when I am out of the house. I call it my security blanket. Yesterday at therapy when they measured the bend in my knees, I had 110 degrees in one and 114 in the other. The goal was between 95 and 110 by the 8th week. Yesterday was the 6th week. I surprise my self with some of the things I can do that I have had difficulty in doing for the last several years. I can step up into a van with my left leg. I can climb a few stairs...they have a restriction on that for a while. I have been on the exercise bike at therapy and on the treadmill here at home. Most of my day is still taken up with exercising."

You can send get-well wishes to Rosalee at 4 Hance Drive, Charleston, Il, 61920.
