Dallas Auction Results 2004

September, 2004 Ennis, TX -
During the O'Reilly Fall Nationals presented by Castrol Syntec, DRAW held its annual Charity Auction with Memorabilia & Fashions. The event was hosted by Billy and Deborah Meyer who generously donated the Champion's Club at the Texas Motorplex along with food, soft drinks, and several members of their staff. Emcees for the Live Auction were the ever-popular NHRA announcers Bob Frey and Alan Reinhart.

The live auction got started at 7:00pm with a full house that included many drivers, team owners, and fans. Racers in attendance included John Force, Del Worsham, Jeg Coughlin, Kenny Koretsky, Doug Herbert, Morgan Lucas, Rhonda Hartman-Smith and husband John Smith.

In true "DRAW Fashion Show" tradition, Bob Frey once again fell victim to the bidding crowd. For a donation of $1000, Bob Frey agreed to wear attractive and flattering headwear during opening ceremonies on the starting line. Many thanks to Bob Frey for being such a good sport!

DRAW wishes to thank all the racers, spectators, donors, and volunteers who supported this auction and helped raise over $50,000 for the injured racer's fund. This event would not have been possible, or as much fun, without your participation.
