DRAW Receives 2004 Blaine Johnson Award

The 2004 Blaine Johnson Award was presented to the DRAW for its ongoing mission to provide financial and emotional support to injured drag racers. DRAW President Beth Hyatt accepted the honor, presented by Alan Johnson at the 2004 NHRA Awards Ceremony held recently in Rancho Mirage, CA.

The Blaine Johnson Award was created by the NHRA in 1996 to honor late Top Fuel driver Blaine Johnson. The award is presented to the individual, team, group or family who best demonstrates perseverance and dedication to NHRA POWERade Drag Racing.
