Donations Needed For DRAW Auctions

DRAW is in great need of items for the auctions we will host during the 2008 racing season. Those auctions include: the large annual auction held at the Joliet, IL, and a live auction held at the October race in Ennis, TX.

The range of items popular at these auctions include racing collectibles, vehicle parts, custom or handmade treasurers, t-shirts, team shirts, memorabilia items, anything autographed – in other words a little bit of everything and anything. If you have something you no longer want to keep, it may well be something that someone else “can’t live without.” IF IN DOUBT, DON’T THROW IT OUT. GIVE IT TO DRAW FOR THE AUCTIONS. Remember the old saying, “One man’s junk is another man’s treasure.”

Please forward your auction items to "DRAW Auction – c/o Rosalee Noble,
4 Hance Drive, Charleston, IL 61920"
. Mark your name on your contribution clearly on the inside and outside of the package so that the item can properly be credited to you. We also ask that you download this form and include it with your auction item.

Items for the Dallas Auction should be shipped to arrive no later than September 1, 2008. Items may also be dropped off at the DRAW Booth, located on the Manufacturers’ Midway, at any national event prior to this race, or at the actual auction site between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. on the day of the auction, September 20, 2008. Any questions, please contact Rosalee Noble at 217-345-6537, or rnoble@consolidated.net

If you do not have an item to donate for the auctions but would still like to help, DRAW also has available sponsorship opportunity for our annual Joliet auction. Your individual donation would help cover the cost of the tent, tables and chairs. Remember, your contributions are completely tax deductible, as are any cash contributions made to DRAW. If you would like a charitable donation tax receipt for your records, please let us know and we will be glad to provide you with one.

Because of the generous donations from the drag racing community, DRAW has been able to provide financial and emotional support to individuals injured in a drag racing accident at a track. From 1985 through 2007, DRAW has provided $3,117,317 to qualified individuals.
